The EKU Board of Regents, meeting in regular session on April 14, approved a Tobacco-Free Campus Policy and set 2014-15 rates for tuition, housing and meal plans.

House Speaker says budget cuts to higher education likely

FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - FRANKFORT, Ky. (AP) - House Speaker Greg Stumbo says the House appears likely to go along with the budget cuts to higher education proposed by Gov. Steve Beshear.

Stumbo told reporters Friday that House leaders have tried to find ways to restore the money, but he says the money isn't available.

Senior Seth Henderson Selected for White House Internship

Seth Henderson, Berea, a senior political science and criminal justice major at Eastern Kentucky University, was selected to serve a 14-week internship in the White House Office of Presidential Correspondence.
